NOS rear seals  part number is 71-17765 (GM# group number 4.318, part number 591353) .
The original seal was leather, the GM replacement is rubber. Transmission gasket set, part number B125 (price $15.50). This company is very knowledgeable and customer service is outstanding. (Thanks to John Gott for referral)

This national association is dedicated to the support of   historical military vehicle enthusiasts.  Contact them at (816) 833-MVPA or go to www.mvpa.org  for more information. If you are not a member, become one today.
 
Regional Organizations
There are local chapters of the MVPA throughout the country.  Generally dues are very inexpensive and you can belong to more than one in your region.  VOV supports the NY-PENN Military Vehicle Collectors Club ( www.ny-pennmvcc.com) and others.
