Vehicles For Sale

To post an ad – read this first!

1) We will list your ’40′s vintage Chevy or GMC vehicle or parts here for six months at NO CHARGE. This is one of the most trafficked truck web sites and we always have a pool of people watching the site for new vehicles.  WWII related truck parts/militaria may also be posted free (subject to our discretion). Other military vehicles and  items  can be listed for just $15 per three month period.

2)  Write your ad as you want it to appear.  Please include all the vehicle info in the ad – not some in the subject line of the email to me, some in an email you send tomorrow etc.   I am not going to play editor, guessing where you are located, and trying to decipher your spelling and what the heck you are selling.

3) Make sure you include your contact info IN THE AD; (location, phone and email)

4)  If your photo is over 150kb we will not post it.

5) Email ad and pic to contact VOV Make sure the subject line says something like “Chevy Truck”, “CCKW” or “Truck for Sale.”  If you leave it blank or just say “for sale” it will likely get lost in the spam

6) Do not send me an ad and post it on ebay the same day.  If it is on ebay you CANNOT SELL IT OUTSIDE THE AUCTION.  You are wasting my time and yours.  Post it here and save ebay fees, or if it doesn’t sell on ebay, then post it here.

7) Please notify us when your item sells so we can remove it.

We reserve the right to reject any ads not of general interest.  As ads are submitted, Vehicles of Victory, LLC is not liable for the accuracy of description or quality of item.

Sellers Beware: Beware of  bogus overseas buyers offering a fake cashiers checks.  If they want immediate shipment, are acting as a “broker,” or want you to send any money, it is a SCAM.  Do not ship your truck or allow it to be moved until your bank certifies that the check has cleared!

1944 Chevy 1-1/2 ton 4×4

1944 Chevy For Sale

This truck has been in my family for more than 40 years but its not getting any use and needs to go to a good home.  It was originally a Class 325 Fire Truck according to placards, was partially restored in 1975 including new motor and the dump body was installed at that time.  It had an off-the-frame restoration completed in 2005. Most of the body and frame have been coated in POR15 after media blasting.   Engine runs fine, will idle all day long, but requires much cranking to start after its been sitting for a week or two. (Minor fuel delivery problem I would guess)  It has the dump body with hydraulic hoist but I have not installed the PTO and shafts to make that work.  (I have several PTO’s, shafts, u-joints, and control levers for buyer).
Many extras go with the truck such as complete canvass for the back in decent condition including front and rear end curtains, 12,000 # Garfield winch, extra gauges, spare set of front hubs that could be machined out and installed to convert it temporarily to 2 WD, spare tire carrier, extra tranny, extra transfer case, etc.

Vehicle is located in Battle Ground, Washington. Zip code 98604.  Of course, I will take and email detailed high resolution pictures to interested parties.
Asking price $11,950   “Keep ‘em rolling!” Dave  360-609-3545  seabrook@pacifier.com

EARLY CCKW For Sale

1941 GMC

This 1941 CCKW with only 90K miles comes with a history.  This famous South
Jersey vehicle helped build Camp Hallows (a children¹s Bible camp in South
Jersey).  It also ploughed the township roads before the township purchased
commercial plowing equipment.  It was a true workhorse of the 50s and 60s.
Looking for loving and appreciative home for this 6 wheel drive dump and
stake body truck. It has the ability to be made into a half-track. Included
in the sale is a set of tracks that fit over the rear wheels.  The front
axle has the ability to have dual wheels‹ that¹s four tires on the front
axle. It is set up for a V plow (plow not included). It also has a built-in
winch on the front end behind the bumper that is driven by a PTO off the
transfer case and 12-volt conversion from the old 6-volt system.  Solid
truck kept inside except for the past year and a half. Body has little
rust, and the engine runs well.  Needs paint and taillights, the rear brake
lines need to be attached. The truck has had two owners my dad, the founder
of Camp Haluwasa, was one of them for the past 50 years. You will need to
pick up the truck; shipping is not included.

Location: Near Hammonton NJ
Asking price 20K ship not included buyer needs to pickup or have the truck

WWII Army Corp of Engineers Crash Truck. This is a 1942 1 1/2 ton International Harvester K-5 truck. It is a 4×2 drive truck with the dual rear axle. It carries a date of delivery of 9/13/1943 and has only 7987 miles! A lot of work has gone into this truck.  The truck is totally re-wired with modern wiring with working headlights, tail lights, new coil, rebuilt generator and new voltage regulator. The truck still maintains its 6 volt system. The engine is a Green Diamond. It still runs amazing but fuel pump I believe is out at the moment. Radiator was cleaned and tested. New brake lines were ran and brake shoes installed. New clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing installed. The fuel tank was cleaned and dipped and new fuel lines ran.  Two new front tires that are Denman Highways with new tubes and flaps all from Coker Tire. Rear tires are in good shape and still holding air but are not new. The pump is a Bean foam pumper that is PTO driven. It turns freely but will need some TLC to really get it working. According to Armyfiretrucks.com, only 235 of these trucks were made by International/Bean. Also included are 2 brass fire extinguishers and original holders for the truck and the K-5 tech manual.     Located in Chattanooga TN         Asking $12,000 obo
